Grosse Lage Leckerberg

Großes Gewächs

In the last days of autumn the great grapes of the more than 40 years old Riesling vines are harvested gently by hand. Afterwards the grapes relax for four to six hours on the mush and ferment spontaneously. The aging takes place in stainless steel to preserve the origin.

The south-facing site Leckerberg sits enthroned high above Dittelsheim. Limestoneweathering and a stony core of various layers of limestone characterize the site. A fine wine with gripping minerality, tension and fascinating finish.
