Ortswein Chardonnay

On limey soils around our hometown Dittelsheim grow these grapes, which are harvested selectively by hand within sunset. Afterwards the berries spend some time on the mush to detach their typical flavours and the minerality of the berry skins. After the spontaneous fermentation the Riesling ages in stainless steel tanks. The Pinots age in traditional 500 liter oak barrels, the red ones age even two years.

The spicy strength of Chardonnay and the cool finesse of Pinot Blanc complement each other wonderfully and are ending in a long finish. Blend with 50 % Chardonnay, 50 % Pinot Blanc
