On limey soils around our hometown Dittelsheim grow these grapes, which are harvested selectively by hand within sunset. Afterwards the berries spend some time on the mush to detach their typical flavours and the minerality of the berry skins. After the spontaneous fermentation the Riesling ages in stainless steel tanks. The Pinots age in traditional 500 liter oak barrels, the red ones age even two years.
A typical Pinot of the cool climates with well-balanced acidity and body. The best grapes are harvested in the sites Geyersberg and Leckerberg.
